Gonzalo Garcia, with a great touch on a pass from the national footballer Arda Güler, put Real Madrid ahead 1-0 in the 10th minute. The second goal for Real Madrid came from Fran Garcia in the 20th minute. Although Borussia Dortmund pulled one back with Maximilian Beier’s goal in the 90+3rd minute, Real Madrid’s star Kylian Mbappe extended the lead to 3-1 just a minute later, assisted by Arda.
Real Madrid’s Spanish defender Dean Huijsen received a red card and was sent off in the 90+5th minute after a foul inside the penalty area, resulting in a penalty for Borussia Dortmund. Taking the penalty, Serhou Guirassy finalized the score at 3-2.
With this result, Real Madrid advances to the semi-finals and will face the French team Paris Saint-Germain. The match is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, July 9th.
